**About Us**

We are immediately seeking to appoint manufacturing technicians to work in our Birchwood facility.

**Job Overview**
- Build and assemble tools, including specialized thermite heaters
- Take responsibility for planning own work to meet production and schedule requirements.
- Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis of any manufacturing issues based on understanding of BiSN melting alloy technology, and downhole thermite heater technology.
- Monitor and adjust production processes or equipment for quality and productivity.
- Keep production logs and maintain inventory of job materials.
- Contribute to operation’s and assembly manual content
- Contribute to design reviews, proposing feedback based on operational experience
- Complete JSA’s and HIR to company standards
- Keep clean equipment and work areas
- Contributes to the workplace improvement in terms of HSE and 5s
- Experience as a Manufacturing Technician a strong plus
- Knowledge and practice of 5s principles

**Other important skills include**:

- Strong HSE ethics
- Self-starter and self-motivated, ability to mentor other less senior technicians
- Ability to work in a dynamic team environment
- Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills
- Working knowledge of general laboratory/manufacturing safety & record keeping
- Good mathematical skill is essential and the ability to manipulate mathematical data and convert between units of measure
