Additional Information:

- These roles are Permanent Part-time, 40hrs & Permanent Full-time, 76hrs/fortnight.
- The internal job title for this role is Senior Sales Generalist.
- As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).
- Shift times range from 7:00am - 10:30pm (AEST/AEDT)
- Hybrid working arrangements may be available once established in the role.
- This position is located in our Remote Customer Meeting Point, adjacent to our IKEA Tempe store.

**About this work area**

As Senior Sales Generalist your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

- Supporting in driving the remote selling of our kitchen's range including generating leads, planning, and purchasing through online chat and phone lines.
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences via answering customer inquiries, employing effective communication, problem-solving, and empathetic engagement.
- Prioritising your understanding of our customers’ needs and suggest home furnishing solutions that will solve their challenges, including proposing add-on products, working with cross selling, and upselling.
- Utilising your in-depth understanding of the product range and IKEA services to empower colleagues through education, ensuring a comprehensive grasp of the features and benefits of IKEA's products and the array of services offered.

As a Senior Sales Generalist you:

- Demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers over calls.
- Exhibit proficient computer literacy to navigate systems efficiently and input data accurately.
- Showcase strong problem-solving abilities to address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
