**MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB**:
The role of a butcher employed by The Butcher Club is to ensure that our meat is displayed in the signature style of our Butcher Club brand and to deliver superior customer service for which we are known for and to produce a wide range of quality products as directed and maintain your workspace in a clean and safe manner.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
The responsibilities/duties of a butcher employed by The Butcher Club include but are not limited to the following:
- Ensure the availability of a wide range of quality cut products
- Ensure that wastage is kept to a minimum.
- Cut and prepare meat and maintain the window displays to the butcher club standard - including keeping the display full and with the correct ticketing.
- Cut and prepare products to meet customer’s specifications/expectations.
- Receive, inspect and store meat upon delivery.
- Maintain stock rotation procedures and organisation of all refrigeration units.
- Provide excellent customer service and information on our products i.e. cooking times, ingredients, suitable cuts ETC.
- Processing sales - handling both cash and card transactions.
- May be required to resolve any customer issues or complaints (in conjunction with the store manager and/or operator).
- May included placing orders with approved suppliers.
- Complete staff rosters and training of new /existing staff - at the request of or in the absence of the store manager and/or operator
- Complete food safety records as directed by the operator/manager.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
