Squash Coach

East Coast Squash Academy Willoughby Pty Ltd requires **THREE** full time Squash Coaches. The Coach will be responsible for the development of individual and group players for competitions at all levels, analysing performances of the sportspersons, directing sports strategies and plan and supervise practice sessions.

Skills requirements are AQF Certificate IV, or equivalent industry experience. Highly desirable attributes are ex-player with national or global recognition, high-order leadership and autonomous work abilities and extremely high attention to detail for talent recognition and competitor development programs.

The positions are based in Sydney NSW with a salary range of $50,000 to $75,000 plus superannuation based on skills and experience.

Key duties include:

- Provide leadership and technical expertise to design and implement a comprehensive squash practice for competitions and excellence at all levels
- Coach and develop the high-performance players and squash squads on play patterns and gaming strategies to compete in domestic to international competitions
- Develop monthly and annual plans for high performance athletes in all age groups
- Plan and develop athletic development, psychology, and performance milestones
- Monitor and undertake performance analysis for competitors at all levels
- Develop a talent identification program and player monitoring program using own knowledge and experience, as well as sports science and medicine
- Work closely with the other coaches:

- to select competitors for all age groups and accompany them to competitions
- to help ensure athletes have proper training programs, competitive structure
planning, and athletes are meeting targets
- Lead, manage and effectively conduct holiday camps, squash squads, group classes and elite development sessions
- Maintain communication with athletes, stakeholders, parents and other clubs
- Increase Women's Squash Participation for Calorie Crush Program and Play Classes
- Increase schools’ programs, including School Sports Programs, In-School Programs and Pathway programs
- Participate and contribute to social media blogs as required

Pay: $30.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
