**Job Description: Kindergarten Teacher**

**Employment Type**: Full-Time

**Overview**:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join our team in Queensland. As a kindergarten teacher, you will play a vital role in fostering a positive, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for young children. You will be responsible for guiding their development across social, emotional, physical, and cognitive domains in alignment with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG).

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Planning and Delivery**: Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that align with EYLF and QKLG.
- **Child Development**: Monitor and assess the development and progress of each child, providing support and interventions as needed.
- **Classroom Environment**: Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where children feel valued and encouraged to explore and learn.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with families, colleagues, and support staff to foster positive relationships and ensure the best outcomes for children.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of each child’s development and learning, and communicate progress to parents and guardians through regular updates and parent-teacher meetings.
- **Health and Safety**: Ensure the physical and emotional safety of children at all times, adhering to all policies and regulations.
- **Professional Development**: Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and participate in ongoing professional development.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification (as recognized in Queensland).
- Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT).
- Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) or eligibility to obtain one.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and fostering the growth and development of young learners.

**Desirable**:

- Previous experience teaching in a kindergarten or early childhood setting.
- Experience working with diverse groups, including children with additional needs.
- Current first aid, CPR, asthma, and anaphylaxis training.
