The client is undertaking major work programs to deliver innovative fit-for-need ICT-based solutions to improve.

The role is focused on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Business Verification Testing (BVT) as part of Production releases. System changes will follow a waterfall or agile approach, depending on the nature of the project.

Duties
- Draft business requirements and future state processes to draft test scripts for changes to the systems.
- Undertake functional testing and Business Verification testing.
- Communicate and liaise with business areas to ensure appropriate test coverage.
- Attend workshops as required.
- Allocate test scripts, monitor test execution and document results in the test summary report.
- Co-ordinate re-tests of system defects.
- Provide test assistance to project managers.
- Troubleshoot business issues to identify whether the system is behaving as expected.
- Create test scripts and test scenarios.
- Define test data required and create test data.
- Document test results.
- Capture defects in ALM.
- Produce test summary reports for system releases.

The preferred location is Melbourne although open to Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane, or Adelaide.

**Australian Citizen - Must be able to obtain Baseline Security clearance**

**Working arrangements**:
Subject to negotiations with the line manager, hybrid working arrangements in line with current client policy are available (minimum of 3 days each week in the office, with flexible arrangements in place for the remaining 2 days).

**Essential Criteria**:

- Demonstrated ability to quickly understand and identify business requirement and future state processes to draft test scripts for changes to systems.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake functional testing as part of UAT and BVT testing.
- Demonstrated ability to liaise with business areas ensure appropriate test coverage based on functional requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in the creation of quality structured test scenarios and test scripts.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Test Life Cycle Methodology.
- Demonstrated ability to manage defects through ALM.

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Comfortable with new ways of thinking about accessibility and enthusiastic about accessible design & development will be highly regarded.
- Past experience with SAP.
- Past experience with NDIA business systems and/or processes.
- Flexible and adaptable.
