Botanist / Fauna Ecologist Perth

ERM is looking for experienced Botanists, Vegetation, Wetland and/or Fauna Ecologists to join our Perth based ecology and approvals team. With a strong pipeline of work relating to renewable energy sector we are open to recruiting at either the junior, mid and/or senior levels.

The position(s) allows for flexible work arrangements to suit individual needs and can be part-time or full-time.

Consulting experience is preferred, however if you have experience working in a related industry such as local government, revegetation, land management, conservation, or education we would like to hear from you.- Tertiary qualifications (and/or post graduate qualifications) in ecology/botany or science- Good verbal and written communications skills, with attention to detail- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships- Strong initiative with the ability to work independently where required- Strong understanding of environmental/planning approvals regulations in WA- Experience in managing approvals for infrastructure projects, with experience in the renewables sector desirable.
