Due to growth a rare position has become available for carpet restoration technician - note we said technician, not just a cleaner

**About You**:
You will describe yourself as a fit and healthy customer service professional with excellent communication skills. You have a knack for building rapport quickly with others along with a friendly disposition. You are driven, keen to learn and enthusiastic about producing great results for clients.

Your peers will describe you as a trustworthy team player who requires very little supervision. You are loyal, possess common sense and take responsibility for your role.

**The Opportunity**:
We are offering flexible working hours Monday to Friday, between 8am - 6pm, and every second Saturday.

Your main objective will be to engage with customers and learn the more technical facets of the industry (full training is provided).

The work will be varied, with leather cleaning and restoration, tile and grout cleaning, odour control, protection services, upholstery cleaning and stain removal and carpet recolouring being part of the everyday services we provide.

**Additional duties include**:

- Invoicing customers
- Managing the quote to order process from end to end &
- Keeping vehicle and equipment stocked, clean.

**To be considered for this position, you will have**:

- Previous experience is advantageous but not essential
- Experience in a sales / customer focused role is desirable
- A Manual driver’s license
- A National Police Clearance
- Be a Permanent Resident of Australia
- Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- The ability to problem solve and achieve positive outcomes
- A desire to learn and continue further industry training
- Vaccination certificates is desirable &
- The ability to thrive when working on your own with mínimal supervision.

The job will require someone willing to learn the technicalities of carpet construction, fibres, chemical and physical properties and must be willing to undergo formal training at commencement of employment as well as ongoing development, with up to 4 workshops a year to be attended.

All equipment and uniforms will be supplied, along with a vehicle that you will be taking home and phone that the successful applicant will be responsible for looking after.
