The Centre
Gumboots Early Learning is in South Morang, a purpose-built centre with amazing outdoor yards and natural facilities. Gumboots offers a Reggio Emilia approach to learning and provides stimulating and nurturing learning environments to allow the children to discover, learn, play, and investigate through their learning. Our state-of-the-art facility also includes a beautiful interactive piazza with integrated kitchen. It is within this space that we conduct weekly cooking classes for all age groups. We also offer an ongoing bush kinder program, as well as incursions and excursions which fit within the interest and education of the children. We have community connections and pride ourselves on supporting local family businesses., including the café conveniently located right next door. Our team are proud in being culturally diverse and celebrate events that are meaningful to our unique community.

The Opportunity
Working closely with your fellow Educators and Centre Manager, you will enjoy;
Developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the centre community.

Developing and implementing an innovative early learning program reflective of current early years thinking and practice.

Documenting and sharing with families in their children’s learning and development.

Actively contributing to the implementation and adoption of the Guardian Curriculum.

Professional learning and development programs, career pathways, and a truly collaborative and inclusive learning environment.

**To be considered, you will have**:
A completed Certificate III and/or Diploma in Children’s Services (or working towards)

Prior experience in long day-care

Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the NQF and the EYLF

Current Working with Children’s Check.
