- TR/013171_1662691929FinXL are looking to engage a junior level Automation Tester on a 12 month contract with our I.T Services Client. 1 day a week into the office.

**Overview**
As a Quality Engineer/Tester you will be working in a new start up environment for our large I.T. Services Client.

**Key Responsibilities**

Play a key role in test automation and infrastructure development

Test new design and architectural choices which have a significant impact on our systems, our business and most importantly, our customers

Build test software that exposes defects at the component and feature integration levels

**Core Competencies, Skills and Experience**

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

3+ years experience as a developer, QA Engineer, or as a Software Development Engineer in Test

3+ years experience in Java, Javascript or python development, or white box testing

3+ years experience to programmatically test the product, measure test coverage, develop the best automation, drive testability and diagnostic ability into the product, while promoting best practices in quality areas

Experience with open source test tools

API automation testing including working experience with unit test automation frameworks Ability to triage issues, react well to changes, work with teams and ability to multitask on multiple products and projects

Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem solving skills

Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive

Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment

Must be based in Queensland/Brisbane or willing to relocate
