**The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS)** is a free community-based tertiary mental health service provided through the WCHN across South Australia, providing care to those with severe and/or complex mental health needs. CAMHS provides services to infants / children / young people up to 16 (18 in some areas) for community, statewide and hospital-based services for perinatal women.

**The Opportunity**

Exciting opportunities exist within **CAMHS** to join us as a **Clinician.**

Role Responsibilities:

- Provide advanced clinical services to children and adolescents within the mental health population.
- Assume a clinical and professional leadership role within the team.
- Contribute to improvements in the quality, safety, and community-driven distribution of services within CAMHS.
- Collaborate with allied health staff, nursing and medical personnel, service managers, clinical coordinators, lead psychiatrist, and other stakeholders.
- Adaptable position given expectations of DIDO and overnight outreach requirements at CAMHS regional centres.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- The ability to Communicate and work with other professionals, facilitate group functions and work as a team member.
- The ability to Work with a high degree of responsibility with limited supervision and direction.
- The ability to Communicate clearly in both written and verbal forms.
- Demonstrated ability to carry out assessments and interventions of a highly complex nature with emotionally disturbed children and adolescents, and their families using a range of theoretical models in assessment and intervention.
- Advanced knowledge in at least one area of clinical practice relevant to Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
