**About the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations**

**The Role**
Reporting to the Director of Technology Architecture, the Technology Architecture Team is responsible for guiding the development and lifecycle management of infrastructure solutions that support the department’s business objectives.

The team consists of highly skilled architects and engineers with expertise in various technology domains, such as networking, security, cloud computing, and automation development.

The team’s primary goal is to support the Technology Services Division to deliver high-quality, reliable, and scalable solutions that meet the business needs of their internal and external customers.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled technology professional to join our Technology Architecture team.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Working closely with information technology and development teams within the department to ensure proposed solutions are fit for purpose and meet security requirements.
- Input into and review any design or architectural components including contributing to decision papers.
- Research and provide architectural guidance for existing and new technologies being proposed for new solutions.
- Review high level and detailed designs and provide constructive feedback.
- Build working relationships with clients to encourage information sharing between business and technology teams.
