Fitter and Turner Apprenticeship

**THE OPPORTUNITY**

You will be working alongside experienced transpeople in a boiler maintenance and repair service team on different sites from food manufacturers to health services. You will be trained in and work on various boilers (but not limited to):

- Boiler and related system installation
- Maintenance and repairs
- Steam, hot water, combustion, and process heating systems
- Start up and performance testing
- Controls installation

Undertaking this **four-year apprenticeship **will give you the opportunity to become a qualified **Fitter and Turner** and earn your **MEM30205 **Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade**.

**ABOUT YOU**

We are ideally looking for a technically minded individual who is interested in completing training and has completed the **first year of your apprenticeship**. We're seeking a team player who has a positive attitude to learn.
- Driver’s licence required (manual)
- Construction white card
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Strong commitment to safety
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be prepared to work overtime.
- Be prepared to travel on various sites
- Hard-working person who can work autonomously and as part of the team
- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19
- Q-Fever Vaccinated (willing to have)
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical, Drug and Alcohol Screen and Police Check
