Kemps Creek, Australia Costco AU Full time

*** Operates and maintains power equipment such as forklifts and electric pallet jacks to move and prepare goods in/out of depot. Pick packing/sorting of goods.

**Job Duties/Essential Functions**
- Wrapping and unwrapping the pallets
- Sorting the pallets and labelling as required (some heavy lifting involved)
- Operating electric pallet jack to move pallets of received and sorted merchandise to shipping lanes or to other areas of the depot
- General upkeep of depot and grounds
- Other duties as directed
- Constantly lifting work required
- Must be able to work in split shift / rotating roster / Saturdays
- Must have warehousing experience and physically fit
- Chiller/Cold Storage Distribution experience is an advantage. Chiller/Freezer/Ambient temperature work required
- Loading and unloading containers using a forklift
- Must be versatile and keen to work in both DRY & WET and in different departments as per business needs.

**_ Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery_**
- Forklift, EPJ, Computer, printer, phone, calculator, handheld two-way radio.

**Non-Essential functions**
- Assists in other departments where necessary.

**Qualifications**:

- Education/Training: Higher School Certificate preferred.
- Licences/Certifications: Valid Forklift Licence is a requirement.
- Knowledge/Skills: Basic Computer Skills
