**Your journey with ATCO**

ATCO is looking for experienced **Class G Gasfitter’s** with experience in the Construction, Utilities and/or Energy Sector to join our Metro Faults Response Team. This position is responsible for undertaking a range of customer service activities associated with the gas distribution network in line with ATCO Gas Australia’s Asset Management Plan and relevant policies and procedures. This is a highly independent role responsible for various activities associated with the gas distribution network.

**What you will do**:

- Undertake Faults and Emergency Response activities, Residential and Commercial meter changes, Reconnects/ Disconnects, Leak Detection, including (maintenance and meter compliance) associated with the Gas Distribution Network.
- Operate machinery, equipment and tools in accordance with the relevant Policies and Procedures.
- Liaises with customers and other stakeholders to ensure that any disruption to supply or any work that impacts customers are fully communicated and, where possible, minimised.
- Participates in the "24/7 On Call Roster" at nominated intervals throughout the business cycle.
- Undertake safe work practices and requirements to ATCO Policies and Procedures.
- Develop and foster relationships with other networks and alliances with relevant contractors, stakeholders and customers.

**What you will bring**:

- Energy Safety Class G Gas fitting Licence and a current C class driver's licence.
- Experience and knowledge of installation and maintenance of Gas appliances.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with members of the general public, our contractors and our community.
