We currently have an exciting opportunity for the role of Clinical Lead (Registered Nurse) who is responsible for the
nursing team at Laurimar Medical Centre, Mernda Medical Centre and Rivergum Medical Centre. If you are ready for the
next challenge in your career, then this is the role for you
Reporting directly to the Clinical Care Manager, you will be leading a highly motivated team of Practice Nurses across 3
sites. Whilst this role is focused on the overall management of the nursing team at these 3 sites, your time will be split
between working on the floor as a Practice Nurse and having 2 days per week to focus on the Clinical Lead role.
About Us
Lifelong Healthcare is a busy accredited group of medical practices across the North and North East of Melbourne. We
have practices in Nillumbik, Research, Warrandyte, Laurimar, Mernda and South Morang/Mill Park. In addition, we work
closely with Aged Care facilities to provide GP support to their residences.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience at a senior nursing/management level
- Previous experience in a General Practice setting
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent clinical documentation practice
- Be committed in ongoing clinical excellence
- Display a relationship centered approach to care for patients and supervision of staff
- Computer literate
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current police check
