Kennel Attendant

Are you a dedicated dog lover with a strong work ethic and excellent teamwork and communication skills? Apple Street Kennels in Upper Swan, WA, is looking for kennel staff to join our team. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Daily cleaning and maintenance of kennels and facilities
- Providing care and attention to dogs in the kennel
- Assisting with feeding and exercise routines
- Operating and maintaining a pressure cleaner
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for the dogs
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure the highest standard of care
- Customer service

**Requirements**:

- A genuine love for dogs and a deep understanding of their needs
- Exceptional work ethic and the ability to handle pressure and work independently
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Good cleaning skills to ensure a hygienic and safe environment
- A valid driver's license is essential
- Previous experience working with dogs or in a similar role is a plus
- Qualifications not required but are a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Patience, compassion, and confidence when working with dogs

**Physical requirements**:

- Ability to lift 20kg
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Stamina for standing, walking and bending for extended periods

**Pay**: From $29.33 per hour

**Expected hours**: From 37.5 per week

**Schedule**:

- Monday - Friday

**Shifts**:

- 6:30am - 2pm

- 6:30am - 5pm
