North Projects is a specialist advisor and consultancy to infrastructure projects nationally. We deliver successful project outcomes by managing cost, scope, risk, design and programme.
Our clients include State governments, company boards, financiers, developers, builders, government, PPP Sponsors and tertiary education providers.
**The opportunity**
This newly created role for a Marketing and Communications specialist to join the team and be instrumental in leading North’s national marketing and communications processes across all forums including digital, social and events to create a consistent brand for a growing and evolving company.
Based in our Melbourne office and reporting to the CEO, this exciting all-round role with autonomy will involve the management and development of the brand, it is a new role in our growing business. This is a stand-alone role but will have the support of a wider leadership team and administration team.
You will:

- Contribute to the development of a national marketing and communications strategy, plans and budgets.
- Develop tactics to build brand awareness in the infrastructure, engineering, and construction industry.
- Oversee all company communications activities.
- Develop local and national marketing activities including arranging photography of employees and projects.
- Develop our Social Media presence and develop SEO/SEM.
- Work with the Bid and Submission Managers to ensure they consistently meet brand guidelines.
- Work closely with the Directors and Associate Directors to ensure our activities are meeting their local and service needs.
- Be a champion of the North Brand Standards

**About you**

- Have had experience in a small to medium size business in a B2B marketing role.
- Ideally have an interest, experience or passion for the built environment including civil engineering & construction or have worked in a consulting business.
- About 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or communications.
- Confident communicator and strong copywriting, editing and proof-reading skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and proactively.
- A bonus is some working knowledge on WordPress/CMS and video & image editing skills.
- Above all has the experience, confidence and collaboration skills to drive and take ownership of North’s Brand.
