A fantastic opportunity has just become available for a Junior Financial Planning Assistant to join the Wealth Management Division of this highly successful Accounting Group. This is a continually expanding business that pride themselves on their friendly and supportive working environment, as well as their superior levels of holistic client advice.
**Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, your main responsibilities will include**:
- Contact product providers to complete research on Investment, Superannuation & Insurance Products.
- Update client database software using XPLAN and NetSuite.
- Prepare Letters of Engagement for all new clients, and prepare Tax Packs for all mutual clients of the Wealth Management and Business Services Teams, in conjunction with Production manager.
- Assist the Wealth Team to prepare Review Packs for existing clients.
- Manage the Wealth Team inbox and distribution of mail to the relevant
- people/teams.
- Assist the Wealth Team with the execution of special projects including
- Business Improvement Projects as and when required.
- Support the Wealth Team in management of client data, scanning and saving
- documentation to the relevant sources.
- Ad hoc support to the Wealth Team
**To be successful in this position you should have**:
- Recently completed your undergraduate degree in Finance or Commerce (or similar discipline)
- Previous work experience in an administrative or client service service capacity, ideally gained from financial services (however other professional experience and/or internships will be considered)
- Diploma of Financial Planning (DFP) / RG 146 qualification is advantageous, however not essential.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A demonstrable interest in financial planning
- The desire and ability to work in a team environment.
- Intermediate computer skills.
