**About the role**

As Group Manager Anti Money Laundering Operations, you will manage AML/CTF operations, mitigate risk and deliver high quality regulatory compliant outcomes, in alignment with The Star’s AML/CTF Program. Reporting directly to Head of Anti Money Laundering Operations, you will develop and implement strategic direction for your high performing AML/CTF team and be committed to mentoring their ongoing development and planning succession for critical roles.

Through developing and implementing a management framework, you will demonstrate your ability to lead innovation in business operations, elevating compliance through identifying and implementing enhancement opportunities targeted to deliver efficiencies and increased performance. The role will require sound communication skills coupled with superior judgment in order to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, as you build knowledge and capabilities to achieve business goals. Additionally, there will be a need to develop, implement and manage strategic direction along with policies, governance, and budgets to maintain and elevate your high performing business unit.

**About you**
- Extensive Executive Management experience in an ASX listed company, responsible for AML/CTF regulatory compliance and risk management
- Tertiary studies in Law, Finance, Economics or Business is desirable or extensive experience in the field
- Demonstrated success in influencing, leading and managing others
- Highly practiced stakeholder engagement for business development and growth
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including detailed reports and presentations
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and proficient in using analytical software and database record management systems
