**Transport Allocator - Wacol**

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Allocator to join our fantastic client based on the South side of Brisbane for a permanent position.

**Your new company**
Our client is a leading manufacturer, supplying steel building products including roofing, cladding, rainwater, structural and fencing products. This is for a day shift position, Mondays to Fridays, with great perks and great team environment.

**Tasks will include**:

- Allocate and schedule fleet in accordance with customer requirements.
- Communicate and liaise with drivers, operators, subcontractors and other stakeholders
- Maintain data integrity including KPI entry, allocations and general administration.
- Report any hazard, near miss/hit, injury or incident immediately and assist with any investigation when requested.
- Prepare and use of reports and other information to support day to day decisions
- Monitor adherence to OH&S policies & procedures

**Skills and experience**:

- Relevant experience in allocation role and knowledge of transport industry
- Good geographical understanding of Australia (Eastern Seaboard)
- Essential computer skills / transport system
- Excellent relationship building skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Enthusiastic, team player and has the “Can Do” attitude
- Maintain a strong focus on quality and safe work practices
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Preferably lives within suitable driving distance.
