Coles’ Merchandise Platform division manages complex and system-critical end-to-end projects and combines cutting-edge technology to improve our customer’s experience. Our Release Governance and Standards Team, which is part of Coles’ wider Merchandise Platform Technology Division, is on the lookout for an experienced Release Coordinator to help us shape Coles’ system critical merchandise platform environment.

**About the role**

This role will focus on the engagement and communication across functional and technical business units to ensure a smooth transition for a variety of projects and product releases across the organisation. As the Release Coordinator you will manage and support a variety of projects and product releases across the Merch and Supply Chain services. This will include working across but not limited to Coles’ Oracle Retail Suite. This role will have you engage with various technical and functional specialists and will be the pillar for offering consistency and ongoing improvement within the release processes and services.

**In this role you will also**:

- Support defect management and quality assurance across testing activities related to the release cycle.
- Adherence to release milestones and assist in governing the release processes.
- Coordinate with Environment and SCM teams in managing the progression of code in the development, testing, and production environments.
- Understand high-level impact of change to critical functionality, integration, and batch.

**About you**:
**You’ll also need**:

- Previous commercial experience in release coordination essential.
- A strong foundational understanding of IT systems and architecture.
- Previously demonstrated the ability to coordinate cross-functional work across teams to task completion.
- A solid understanding of project management principles is preferred.
- The ability to engage with business and IT teams at various levels.
- Technical understanding of IT systems and integration is advantageous.
