**How will I Help?**
The Senior Associate, Data Change Manager will work with the Global Transaction Services (GTS) business line which is a critical pillar of Westpac’s Institutional Bank (WIB).

This role is part of the Data & Records Management team with the GTS function that drives greater data risk outcomes for GTS. It designs and manages a data change framework for GTS, ensuring all data changes are made in accordance with the Group Data Management Framework and the Data Management Operating System (DMOS) requirements.

This role primarily supports GTS projects, providing valuable and trusted advice on managing data through project-initiated change. You will engage and work closely with colleagues across the business and technology teams to understand data requirements and data changes, and their impact on our operating model, processes, technology platforms and people.

You will work with Program/Project Managers and Business Owners in the planning and co-ordinating of data change activities to ensure they are smoothly integrated with project activities.

Other key accountabilities include:

- Develop an effective, tailored communication and engagement strategy to ensure that GTS projects meet the desired benefits and outcomes of WIB’s Data Governance Framework
- Own, develop and implement mechanisms to elicit data requirements from projects
- Conduct learning needs analysis for project stakeholders, including a detailed plan and roadmap for delivery of effective training materials
- Lead data management architecture discussion in projects including data pipelines and data management tooling and embedment
- Effective engagement with all stakeholder groups (business, project, strategic forums (internal/external) to broadly assess the up and downstream data change impacts to support the delivery of project outcomes

**What do I need?**

To be successful you will have the following:

- Experience in data management process and policies. Industry experience such as DAMA, Enterprise Data Management Council highly valued
- Expertise in Change Management across projects
- Experience handling complex situations/variety of stakeholders and uncertainty
- ‘Can do’ attitude, comfortable with leading through ambiguity, exudes a passion for change and continuous improvement
