The Role
We are seeking an energetic and reliable, self-driven individual to join our rapidly growing team as a Smoke Alarm and General Compliance Technician.
This role offers the opportunity to learn and hone multiple skills including the installation, servicing, testing and reporting of smoke alarms that are located in residential rental properties.
You will also have the opportunity and learn new skills such as water efficiency testing, window safety, routine inspections and safety switch tests.
Our Real Estate Agency clients engage our services because of our industry leading service, reporting and customer service experience.
Jobs are routed and booked with tenants by our bookings team. As one of our customer service driven Field Service Team, you'll arrive to appointments on time, liaise with tenants and conduct a gold standard compliance service and report (ongoing training provided as part of our “constant improvement” practice).
This is a full-time role (Monday to Friday) 7am to 3.30pm. No public holidays or weekends
The Person
- You are a self-motivated individual who is efficient and comfortable working unsupervised
- You are task orientated with an eye for detail
- You excel at customer service and can communicate in a professional manner with tenants, agents and our operations team
- You are flexible and resourceful; you can “dig in” when days don’t go to plan
- You are well presented; you’re proud to represent our brand (t-shirts provided)
- You are reliable and consistent; you always bring your “A-game”
- You have a strong sense of urgency and a “get it done” attitude
- You can demonstrate good written and oral communication skill
- You are fit and able to carry and climb a ladder
- You have some experience and confidence in basic handy work, using basic tools
- You have a current drivers license
- You enjoy driving; your days will spent be 100% on the road from job to job
- You have a smart phone and the ability to use Apps for reporting purposes
- You have Police Clearance (or we can arrange for you)
Highly desirable but not essential
- Previous technician experience
- Based in Sydney Southern Suburbs
Immediate start is available with full training provided.
