As the **Marketing Manager - Content & Social**, your finger is on the pulse, you’re a step ahead in understanding the ever-changing world of social media and you have high attention to detail and creative flair. In this role you will plan and implement content end to end across all digital touch points, to help Australians discover their local pub.

You’ll play a key role in driving our content marketing strategy forward by operationalising social media, content planning and production. You recognise the importance of storytelling and the role a pub plays in its local community, and you will be a critical driver of setting up our ecosystem to best support this.

Here’s a snapshot of the **Marketing Manager - Content & Social** responsibilities:

- Develop and execute the ALH content strategy, particularly as it pertains to Discovery Brands, to drive engagement, reach, traffic and growth.
- Develop and implement ALH’s social media strategy, to improve efficiency and workflows for social media management, content production and media spend.
- Oversee the development of ‘Live At Your Local’ and ‘Nightcap Hotels’ content strategies to achieve business targets, remain on-trend and ‘on-brand’.
- Lead and inspire your team (3 direct reports) by role modeling ALH Ways of Working and Values.
- Identify digital and cultural trends and insights to evaluate end-to-end customer experience for all marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with Brand and Operations Marketing teams to support key brand campaign initiatives and the local pub content strategy and channel utilisation.
- Manage team weekly and monthly reporting to MLT on trends in content, social media and performance of our digital content.
- Manage the Digital Paid Media budget and forecasting, as it pertains to ‘always on’ advertising.

Now let’s talk about you:

- Experience working in content marketing, social media strategy and execution (5+ years).
- Degree Qualified in Marketing, or a related field.
- A strong digital marketing skill set, with experience in content management, social media, digital advertising and online marketing.
- Proven experience & ability to lead, develop and inspire a team.
- Proven ability to develop strategy.
- An ability to be ‘hands on’, you are curious about the why and focused on outcomes.
- Strong attention to detail and creative copywriting skills.
- Ability to work autonomously with little direction and deal with ambiguity.
- Working cross functionally with strong stakeholder management skills are key to success in this role.
- Experience using Sprinklr, or similar products, desirable.
