Medical Receptionist

Full Job Description-please note the job start date will be end of March.

**Job Summary**
- We require a part time receptionist to join our close knit team in Mornington. If you thrive in a fast paced team environment this role could be perfect.
- You will be the first point of contact for all patients. You must be able to multi-task at a fast pace, answer calls and greet patients in a warm and professional manner. Attend to the high demands of our doctors
- Able to be authoritative and play a gatekeeper role for our doctors
- Demonstrate an understanding of basic health knowledge

**Responsibilities include**:* Greeting patients
- Scheduling appointments
- Scanning and data management of medical records
- Preparation of patient accounts
- Medicare Batching
- Private billing
- Setting up of consulting rooms
