Join Asahi Beverages as our Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) for Alternative Milk Venture We are seeking a visionary EIR to develop our groundbreaking venture into the alternative milk category. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the strategic direction, drive innovation, and revolutionise the market alongside one of Australia & New Zealand's beverage industry giants.

This is a rare opportunity to build from the ground up in a venture that has already undergone early-stage concept validation. As part of Asahi Beverages, you'll be contributing to our mission of redefining connection and enjoyment while working alongside some of Australia & New Zealand's most iconic brands.

**This position will be offered on a fixed-term contract basis spanning approx. 2 years.**

**Key Responsibilities**:
As our Entrepreneur in Residence, you will:

- Lead the development and refinement of our alternative milk venture, staying ahead of emerging trends and technological innovations.
- Drive product development, leveraging your expertise in base materials, production processes, and environmental considerations.
- Develop strong partnerships within the café community and specialty coffee market, positioning our product for success.
- Develop compelling strategies to market our alternative milk to cafes and consumers, driving adoption and profitability.
- Build and manage a robust supply chain, ensuring consistent quality and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with finance teams to efficiently allocate resources and secure future investment.
- Identify and nurture key partnerships that will fuel our venture's growth.

**About You**:

- Proven success in entrepreneurship, B2B sales, or consumer goods, with a passion for innovation and growth.
- Experience selling products & services along with deep understanding of the café, coffee, and alternative milk sectors, with a knack for identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities.
- In depth understanding of the environmental & social aspects of alternative milk production; including alternative milk technologies, consumer preferences and regulatory changes.
- Proven approach to influencing sub-cultures, building communities or have a history in building products that people love.
- Experience in developing and executing successful launch strategies, coupled with the ability to navigate uncertainties and seize opportunities.
- A track record of building and nurturing strategic partnerships, coupled with strong communication and negotiation skills.
- The ability to think outside the box and drive unconventional brand building and consumer adoption.
- A knack for managing budgets and resources effectively, ensuring the venture's success within budgetary constraints.
