Dental Assistant

CAMP HILL DENTAL is a practice obsessed with patient satisfaction and is constantly trying to help people by creating a positive dental experience. As a Dental Assistant you will have a pivotal role in assisting our dentists deliver outstanding patient care.

We are looking for a friendly, motivated and switched-on applicant, who loves connecting with people as much as we do. The applicant must aim to provide the ultimate customer service experience. We can teach the expert knowledge in all things dental but a desire to learn is a must. This is more than a job, it’s a career.

CAMP HILL DENTAL, a family-owned business for over 30 years, has grown to become a busy 5 chair practice with 7 enthusiastic dentists - and we want to continue to grow Our dentists provide all levels of general dental care - including implants, basic orthodontics, paediatric dentistry, rotary endodontics, CEREC and everything in-between. We have an exceptional team of hard-working support staff, who are committed to our patients.

We are looking for someone who is prepared to work hard, contribute to our team, and be rewarded for results. Previous dental experience is desirable but not required. We strongly encourage all staff to further their education and support continued learning.

**ABOUT THE ROLE - What you will be doing**:
You will be responsible for:

- Provide compassionate and attentive patient support
- Assisting our friendly, female dentists during dental procedures
- Preparing treatment rooms
- Sterilization and infection control
- Greeting and assisting patients in a friendly and helpful manner, so that they feel comfortable and welcome
- Maintenance of stock to assist with ordering supplies
- Environmental cleaning
- Assist in building long-term relationships with our patients through punctuality, humour and kindness

**Ideal Qualifications/Capabilities**:

- Dental Assisting Certificate III (preferred not essential)

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 38 per week

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

**Experience**:

- Dental assistance: 1 year (preferred)
