Currently, we are in search of a Freight & Operations Supervisor to oversee freight management, warehouse operations, and inventory control. Coordinate the movement of goods, manage dispatch schedules, optimise warehouse processes, and ensure compliance with safety and efficiency standards. This role plays a critical part in our supply chain, supporting the broader objectives of the TIC QLD facility.

**Your primary responsibilities will encompass (but are not limited to) the following**:

- Freight & Operational Management_
- Supervise and coordinate loading and unloading of freight, ensuring adherence to schedules, safety regulations, and cost-effective practices.
- Oversee and enhance freight booking and dispatch operations, allocating resources efficiently and optimizing driver collections and third-party carrier requests.
- Monitor and maintain accurate documentation of all inbound and outbound shipments, resolving discrepancies and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Generate daily operational reports and provide data-driven insights to improve logistics performance.
- Warehouse & Inventory Management_
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring security, maintenance, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure there are sufficient control procedures in place for goods to be properly stored, tracked, and handled according to company standards.
- Liase with Warehouse Supervisor assuring of equipment, including forklifts, is properly maintained and operated by certified personnel.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency, reduce costs, and optimise resource allocation.
- Process Optimisation & Compliance_
- Identify and implement best practices in supply chain operations, focusing on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with company goals and compliance with industry regulations.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, transport providers, and warehouse teams to enhance service delivery.
- Support QLD Operations Manager in developing and implementing strategies and procedures to adapt facility and freight network to meet budget and customer’s requirements

**Key Requirements**
- Proven experience in freight management, warehouse supervision, or logistics operations.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, inventory management, and transportation regulations.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and reporting tools.
- Ability to lead teams and coordinate multiple operations simultaneously.
