The Opportunity

Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting? Join our dynamic Management Analysis and Decision Support Self Managed Team (SMT) and play a crucial role in supporting Business Unit (BU) Leaders and the CFO. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Chapter Lead of Commercial Finance and the SMT Co-ordinator to ensure our financial reporting aligns with the vision of the Commercial Finance team.

As a key member of our team, you will support the integration of various information sources to deliver best practice financial reporting, enabling insightful business decisions for leadership teams across different business units. Your responsibilities will include producing timely management reports, maintaining cost centres and product allocation methodologies, and contributing to strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting. You will also ensure that all finance deliverables meet the required controls and disciplines, enhancing our financial framework.

This role offers a Permanent full-time contract and embraces flexible working arrangements. You'll have the freedom to work remotely, with occasional office attendance required on an ad hoc basis, ensuring a harmonious balance between business needs and personal flexibility.

Your Story- Support the reporting and analysis to deliver best practice financial reporting, integrating all sources of information to enable business insights and actions for leadership teams across different business units.- Support production of relevant, timely management reporting in line with the Finance framework and timetable- Work with the Chapter lead and the MI&P SMT leaders to ensure that Finance deliverables, requirements and appropriate controls and disciplines are met, maintained and enhanced- Assist to maintain cost centres and product allocation methodology and design (with ledger execution sitting with financial accounting) to facilitate effective tracking of costs and ensure all costs are attributed to cost centres and allocated to products as appropriate- Contribute to strategic plans and frameworks for planning, budgeting and forecasting.- Support reporting and understand the data flows and source feeds, and using the management reporting and analysis tools.- Support team to delivery of all reporting and analysis in line with the timetable

Ideal experience- Tertiary qualifications; CA / CPA or equivalent- Work experience in finance beneficial- Life, Health or General Insurance industry experience beneficial- Process simplification- Data analytics and reporting
