Bossa Nova Foods has 18 Cafes across Melbourne and Sydney and we are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Day Shift Kitchen Hand. Located in Chadstone Mall, our vibrant cafe prides itself on serving high-quality meals and exceptional customer service.

**responsibilities**:

- Assist chefs with food preparation and plating during busy breakfast and lunch periods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in a kitchen environment preferred, but not required
- Strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks as needed

**Salary**: $35.38 - $40.24 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 38 per week
