YOUR NEW ROLE
Working alongside the Buying, Quality and Operations team, the Manufacturing New Product Development Specialist is responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of new and existing products into the production processes of the factory.
**TO BE SUCESSFUL IN THE ROLE, YOU WILL REQUIRE**:
- Experience in a similar role. demonstrated knowledge and experience in developing new products
- High level of experience 3D AutoCAD or similar
- Experience in CNC Machine programming
- An understanding of various manufacturing processes: timber cutting, sewing, upholstery, framing
- Solid understanding of production planning, manufacturing lead times, production capacity and limitations
- Practical knowledge of fabric, timber and foam
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
- Good problem-solving skills with the understanding of how to identify problems and overcome them.
- Ability to work well in a team environment including excellent communication skills.
- You must be a positive, tenacious, resilient, self-motivated and goal orientated person.
- Approachable with a can do, team based attitude
- An Degree in Engineering, not essential.
