**About St Vincent de Paul Society**

We are the St Vincent de Paul Society Victoria or, more fondly, Vinnies Victoria. For more than 165 years we have been providing practical and compassionate support to people across Victoria whose daily struggles can include putting food on the table, paying essential utilities and ensuring their children remain at school to obtain an education.

Under our Good Works umbrella we have many services and programs, including soup vans, education programs, home visitation programs and Vincent Care Victoria (VCV), which assists some of Victoria’s most vulnerable communities, such as people experiencing homelessness, the housing crisis and family violence, and the elderly.

**About the role**

In this role, you'll efficiently support the ICT Manager, manage vendor relationships, take care of administrative tasks and build relations with stakeholders while assisting them with their technology problems. You will also get the opportunity to make a tangible impact by supporting the ICT Manager to deliver the best solutions aligned with the ICT strategic plan of the society.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Supporting the ICT Team in the delivery of ICT Services and Customer Support.
- Providing procurement services ensuring timely delivery and accurate accounting of all Society ICT-related assets and services.
- Assisting in the development, delivery, implementation and monitoring of assigned IT assets.
- Documenting and improving procedures, being proactive in the design and implementation of efficient systems.
- Supporting the rollout of new ICT equipment.
- Configuring various assets to suit the different business needs of each department.
- Responding to different ICT tasks, enquiries, and projects submitted through the Helpdesk.

**Ideally you will have**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with IT Procurement, including PC’s, Laptops, Phones, POS, Printers hardware.
- Experience with creating IT Documentation.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems - Windows 10 and 11.
- Current Drivers Licence and vehicle.
- Ability to work constructively and productively in a small team environment supported by vendors in an outsourced environment.
