**The Opportunity**

We are recruiting for the position of a Maintenance Instructor, for the MLSS Program within the CH47F (SG) Maintenance Training Team at Oakey. This role is open to an Aeroskills Avionics Trade.

Your exceptional training and leadership skills can provide you with a challenging role in a unique environment.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- _Delivery of contracted CH-47F (SG) B2 Aircraft Type and associated maintenance support training in a theory and practical environment, in accordance with appropriate Learning Management Packages (LMP's) and schedules._
- Working in the capacity of a CH47F Course Manager in accordance with Course Management procedures.
- Development of training package materials through continuous improvement activities.
- Review and amendment of assessment instruments.
- Support the Training Team Senior in the CH47F Maintenance Training Facility.
- Support to the MLSS Program and Capability Managers with CH47 Training Program Execution as directed.
- Maintain currency on Aircraft Type as a maintainer, as part of continuous improvement.
- Support the development of the DASR 147 Training System.

**To be successful you will have**:
**Essential**
- CH47F Aircraft Avionics Type Qualification (B2 MAML), or equivalent and 10 years' experience as a Rotary Wing B2 Aviation Maintenance Tradesperson, Aviation Supervisor, and/ or Aviation Maintenance Manager.
- Certificate IV in Aero skills (Avionics).
- Applicants must be an Australian Citizen and be able to meet security clearance and ITAR requirements.

**Desirable**
- Experience with working on CH47F aircraft platform.
- Experience with the delivery of training in the Defence environment.
- Interpersonal skills to work in a multi-trade team environment.
- Hold a Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE 40116) or equivalent qualification, or willingness to achieve this qualification as part of your role.
- Understanding of DASA Part 147 and 66 Regulations.
- Highly competent Aeroskills Instructor/Mentor/Coach and Courseware Development skills.
- Proficient with MS Office tool suite.

This role will be required to maintain currency as a CH47F AME supporting the MLSS MRO, as directed by the MLSS Program Manager, as part of - but not when conducting Training Activities.
