**Job Vacancy: Lifestyle Coordinator - Aged Care (Arabic Speaking)**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan, coordinate, and implement engaging lifestyle programs and activities for aged care residents.
- Foster a warm and supportive environment that upholds Antiochian Care's values of Preciousness of Life, Compassion, Dignity, and Respect.
- Establish meaningful relationships with residents, families, and staff to create a sense of community and belonging.
- Ensure that all programs are culturally sensitive and tailored to the needs and preferences of Arabic-speaking residents.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans that integrate lifestyle preferences and physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Document and evaluate the effectiveness of programs, making adjustments as necessary.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, understanding their unique backgrounds and life experiences.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in aged care and implement best practices.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Fluent in Arabic (spoken and written) or a strong willingness to learn the Arabic language.
- Minimum of 1-year nursing experience in residential aged care, preferably as a Welfare/Lifestyle Coordinator.
- Possession of a Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or higher.
- Exceptional adaptability and empathy, with a genuine passion for working in aged care.
- Strong alignment with Antiochian Care's values of Preciousness of Life, Compassion, Dignity, and Respect.
- A current Australian Police check.
- Exposure to or knowledge of Middle Eastern culture will be considered an advantage.

**Salary**: $49,507.01 - $107,661.60 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Punchbowl, NSW 2196: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
