About the role
Exciting opportunity for a Procurement Coordinator in Darra (Brisbane) Take the lead in supplier management, contract negotiations, and supply planning, all while contributing to cost savings and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
Duties include
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliable supply, quality and service performance.
- Manage material supply programs to meet operational requirements while optimizing cost and inventory performance.
- Partner with ANZ Regional Procurement teams on data management, supplier tenders and commercial analysis for the Melbourne site.
- Contribute to cost reduction initiatives, driving procurement savings and operational efficiency improvements.
- Support accurate supply forecasting and demand planning to mitigate supply risks.
- Collaborate closely with Quality to uphold compliance and resolve supplier-related quality issues.
- Negotiate supplier contracts and agreements to secure competitive pricing, favourable terms and service continuity.
- Maintain raw material pricing data and exchange rate information to support commercial negotiations.
- Administer and manage ongoing local service contracts (e.g., cleaning, pest control, freight) aligned to ANZ procurement strategies.
- Achieve annual procurement savings target by developing and delivering strong project pipelines and value-creation initiatives.
- Provide sourcing insights and opportunities to R&D for new product development and innovation activity.
- Validate and authorise supplier invoices against agreed pricing and contractual conditions.
- Promote and support safe work practices across the Supply Chain function to ensure a safe working environment.
- Undertake additional duties as required to support business objectives.

About you
- Proven experience in a similar procurement or coordination role.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and build supplier relationships.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and work comfortably with numbers.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders across teams.
- Strong organizational skills to manage priorities, deadlines, and procurement processes.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset to identify risks and implement effective solutions.
