This role is key to ensuring high-quality assurance services and supporting our organizational goals.

**Position Overview**:
As an Internal Auditor at CAABA, you will provide independent assurance to our internal operations across Australia. Your responsibilities include planning, executing, and reporting on various audits to ensure high-quality evaluations. You'll examine financial, operational, and managerial processes, ensuring integrity and compliance. Additionally, you will contribute to business process reviews, risk assessments, and deliver insightful recommendations for continuous improvement.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage the scheduling and execution of audits, ensuring thorough planning and documentation.
- Interact with managers, staff, external auditors, regulatory bodies, and suppliers to meet audit objectives.
- Provide consulting support to administrators, managers, and staff on operational issues identified during audits.
- Stay up to date with regulatory developments, policy changes, and new procedures affecting internal audits.
- Prepare and present clear, comprehensive internal audit reports, supported by detailed findings and recommendations.
- Contribute to internal audit strategic planning by evaluating business risks and compliance-related issues.
- Ensure timely follow-up and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
- Support the delivery of CAABA’s internal audit program, including audit planning and validation of corrective actions.

**Qualifications & Experience**:
**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a field highly relevant to auditing, such as Accounting, Commerce, or Business (AQF Level).
- Membership with the Institute of Internal Auditors Australia is desirable.

**Experience**:

- A minimum of 1 year of experience in Internal Audit, particularly in large, complex organizations or the financial services sector.
- Proven knowledge of audit procedures, techniques, testing, and sampling methods.
- Strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to identify business risks and areas of non-compliance.
