**The Opportunity**
We are seeking a motivated HSQE Advisor to join U-Go Mobility team.
This position will be working alongside the Head of Safety & Security and another HSEQ Advisor to oversee the safety, quality and environment systems within U-Go Mobility. This position advises the business on the following matters - auditing, hazard management, drug and alcohol testing/reporting, compliance management, contract and regulatory requirements.
**The role**
- Execute and assist in review of safety, quality and environmental systems and related documents.
- Assist in development and reviews of business plans required for the smooth operation of the HSEQ function and the business overall.
- Assist in ongoing maintenance of bus operations accreditation and HVNL fatigue management accreditation & monitoring of designated processes.
- Monitor and review the safety risk profile to identify areas of improvement and strengthening.
- Manage compliance against stipulated requirement & provide safety statistics on a monthly basis for inclusion in monthly reports.
- Coordinate communication and consultation with relevant committees and HSRs.
- Prepare and deliver toolbox talks.
- Conduct workplace inspections and audits as per required schedules and standards.
- Conduct & monitor risk assessments.
- Play an active role in reviewing of investigations, root causes & recommendations and corrective actions.
- Ad hoc HSEQ reporting and special projects.
- Assist in development and deployment of a safety-first culture and programs for the business.
**What we are looking for**
- Certificate IV Workplace Health and Safety.
- At least 12 -24 months working experience in safety and compliance, preferably within the Transport, Logistics or Manufacturing blue-collar environments, with adequate knowledge of applicable legislation, codes of practice and standards.
- Internal auditing and incident investigation experience.
- Experience in writing of documented processes.
- Ability to build, maintain and foster business relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Capable of communicating clearly and concisely both verbally and through written reports.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
