**About The Company**
Our client is a contract testing laboratory specialising in chemical, microbiological and physical analysis for manufacturers across Pharmaceutical, Veterinary and Bioanalytical sectors. They are based in the western suburbs of Sydney.

**About the Role**
A permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday, rostered between 6am - 6pm for an experienced Microbiology Technician in sterile product testing. This position would suit someone who has a couple years’ experience in a micro testing position. We are looking for individuals that can perform the following:

- Perform sterility assays in accordance with SOPs
- Aseptic processing
- Routine analysis, ID, validations and project work for endotoxin, disinfectant, antibiotic, and cytotoxicity testing
- Plating, preparing media and reagents, dilutions, DNA extractions, etc.
- Perform instrument maintenance and calibrations
- General housekeeping, including glassware preparation and cleaning
- Additional duties as required

**About You**
To be successful in this role you will be expected to have the following:

- BSc in Microbiology, diploma or equivalent
- Previous microbiological laboratory experience would be highly regarded
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organisation skills and strong attention to detail
- Full working rights in Australia
