**About The Role**

The role of Maintenance Worker supports the Property Manager in ensuring that Canberra Grammar Whole School Campus grounds, buildings, and equipment are well presented, maintained, physically secure, and compliant with all appropriate regulations to provide a safe environment for the whole school community. A member of a multi-trade team who has oversight and management of minor construction work and all maintenance involved in the provision of outstanding facilities for all Staff and Students at Canberra Grammar School. The Canberra Grammar School Campus is made up of approximately 30 buildings ranging in age from 1 through to 90 years.

This position is part of the Property Department that resides within the Business Office, with direct day-to-day management provided by the Maintenance Supervisor.

**About You**

Your initial duties will include, but will not be limited to:

- Assisting tradesmen
- Waste collection
- Furniture and equipment moving
- Gutter cleaning
- Other duties as requested by the Maintenance Supervisor

In addition to the above duties, the experience will be gained by assisting tradesmen in the following areas:

- Electrical
- Plumbing
- Carpentry
- Welding
- Air conditioning
