Horse Trainer

Feek Racing are currently seeking a full-time Horse Trainer for our busy business located on the Mornington Peninsula to oversee the everyday management of the stable, staff and horses.

Your duties will include:

- Riding trackwork to a high standard.
- General knowledge of practices and procedures of a Racehorse Stable Complex.
- Training and educating young horses to all daily fitness practices.
- Supervise the horses to ensure they receive the best care with any minor injuries and record all treatments.
- Supervision of horses and staff when attending trials and race meetings.
- Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety within a stable complex.
- Oral and written communication skills of a level to take instruction and provide information.

In return you will receive:

- Package: $54,000 - $56,000 per annum plus superannuation
- Incentive and Bonus payments will be performance based
- Position: Full time (38 hours a week)

Requirements of position:

- At least 2 years experience as a horse trainer
- Certificate III or equivalent international qualification desirable.
