State Trainer

We're looking for a** State Trainer **to join the team based in Villawood, NSW on a full-time basis and will report to National Training Manager. You will maximize the sales and profitability of PPG Architectural Coatings products in the Retail & Professional channels. **Responsibilities** Training: - Plan, schedule and deliver Sanctioned Training Academy Courses for Retail, Company Owned Stores and Professional. - Conduct Quarterly Training Reviews with Group Managers to create Quarterly Training Calendar. - Help create resources for and deliver non-Academy Trainings for Retail, Company Owned Stores and IPS - Coordinate 15min Activity Resources for Professional and Independent Teams (QSM Training Kit) as directed by National Content Manager - Maintain Academy training attendance records and report monthly to National Training Manager. - Report Retail Academy Attendance records weekly to the local Bunnings L & D representative and publish the regions annual training calendar events. - Participate and support in training courses for other 3rd party groups such as Hire and Hubby and Master Painters Association and help in demonstration activities for Paint Roadshows and Expo’s. Service, Quality and Compliance: - Manage working relationships with customers across the Corporate, Professional and COS networks while developing cross SBU training opportunities. - Complete all assigned Professional Development tasks. **Requirements**: - Minimum 1 year of experience with successful track record in product training. - High-level exposure around negotiation. - Commercial knowledge of the coatings industry. - Hold and maintain valid driver’s license. - Ability to work and travel within territory and nationally. - Ability to work after hours or in peak selling times - Easter Saturday and weekends before Christmas. **About us**: **PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD** **The PPG Way** Every day at PPG: **We partner with customers to create mutual value.** We are insightful, dedicated, and proactive.
