Your role within multidisciplinary mental health team, Medicare Mental Health Centre Muswellbrook will allow you to:

- Grow and enhance skills while working in a field you enjoy
- Work closely with the clinical team to conduct comprehensive assessments and formulate care coordination plans for individuals with mild to moderate mental health issues.
- Provide timely and person-centred support to customers accessing our services, including provision of relevant information about the services available to them, their families, carers and community partners.
- Provide high quality person-centred individual and/or family brief interventions and/or case management that are strengths based, recovery-oriented and culturally responsive and in line with Social Futures Practice Framework.

Joining us, you’ll join a multidisciplinary mental health team delivering high quality mental health services - including intake, assessment, psychological interventions, and referral services for individuals who experience mental health issues and are seeking support. The role supports a weekend referral intake and assessment roster. From facilitating groups to individual support sessions, your work will be diverse and impactful.

- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in health, psychology, social work, social science or social welfare, health promotion or similar.

- Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with all people to ensure effective relationships.
- Demonstrated well-developed organisational, time management and administrative skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines.
