Mount Barker’s brand-new, state-of-the-art aquatic and fitness facility opened in August 2025. Summit Aquatic and Leisure offers inclusive programs for all ages and abilities, supporting the growing Mount Barker and Adelaide Hills communities. This brand-new facility includes;
- 25m Indoor Pool
- Learn-to-Swim Pool
- Shallow Entry Pool with Water Play
- Warm Water Pool
- Health Club & Group Exercise Rooms
- Child-minding & Community Meeting Rooms
- Kiosk/Café

**The Role**

We’re currently seeking passionate and qualified **Swimming Instructors** to join our team and bring energy and expertise to our swim programs. We’re looking for individuals who: Hold current AUSTSWIM qualifications, including Infant and Preschool Aquatics, or have the ability to obtain them Thrive in a high-energy environment and enjoy working with children and families.

Are confident, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality swim instruction. Are available to work Saturdays This is a great opportunity to be part of a supportive team and make a real impact in our community.

MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE.

Skills & Attributes:

- Energetic, innovative and decisive teaching style
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends and must be empathetic to the needs of the classes
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as a strong and valuable part of the team

**Qualifications**:

- Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
- Working with Vulnerable People & National Police Check
- Current Swim Teaching Certificate

We run lifeguard, First Aid, CPR and swim teacher courses through Belgravia Academy. Our qualified trainers and assessors will ensure you are fully trained and qualified to become a lifeguard/swim teacher
