**Job Description**:
Nine’s Group Payroll Services team supports the entire Nine business with clear and predictable payroll systems and processes. They drive faster and more effective decision making through concise and insightful analysis.

The team is responsible for the day-to-day processing of payrolls for all entities within the Group. As the Payroll Officer you will work closely with the other Payroll team members to ensure the timely and accurate payment of salaries and wages to employees.

Day to day you will be responsible for:

- High volume timesheet data entry
- Large volume processing of onboarding paperwork
- Large volume processing of terminations
- Collation of payroll forms with contracts
- Checking of payrolls - weekly, fortnightly, monthly
- Responding to various queries from employees and both internal and external stakeholders
- Other duties as reasonably required, such as collation of paperwork and tickets via our ServiceNow ticketing system

**Qualifications**:
You are a payroll professional who enjoys participating in and supporting a team environment to ensure deadlines and targets are consistently met. You pride yourself on your positive and professional communication style and regularly share information and ideas in a positive way.

What we would like to see on your resume:

- Experience in a busy payroll department, utilizing Chris21 (essential)
- Knowledge of relevant tax and employment law
- Ability to provide high quality, accurate and responsive customer service
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a flexible, multi-functional team environment
- Ability to exercise initiative and judgment when problem solving
- Strong numeracy skills
- Experience in processing large volumes of work while meeting strict deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy and service
- Knowledge of TimeTarget, or similar Time & Attendance systems, would be advantageous, but not essential

Any understanding or experience in the media industry would be highly regarded.
