We are a large quality Butcher shop on the Sunshine Coast that has had the same family owners for over 30 years. We require a Front of Store Manager to work closely with the Managing Director to help expand the retail offering and mentor the team.

With the growth on the Sunshine Coast we are at the stage of needing help to manage the steadily rising turnover of the retail shop and our awesome team who look after our customers. As this position is on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast it will entail a 5-day work week with 2 days off to enjoy our beautiful region.

Ideally the enthusiastic and energetic applicant will be an experienced and qualified tradesperson and be meticulous with their attention to detail.

**Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to)**:
Preparation and production of quality fresh meat products to company specified guidelines within reasonable timeframes.

Creating and maintain a team environment through effective staff management.

Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in relation to workspace and products.

Adhere to company policies and Q-Safe procedures in relation to Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) and Food Safety to ensure a safe working environment for customers and staff

To be considered for this position you MUST be able to;
- Break a carcase into primal cuts
- Portray a positive attitude
- Communicate effectively with customers and staff
- Help to train, mentor and supervise apprentices and staff

Desirable skills include;
- Posting on and monitoring social media accounts
- Previous experience performing stock takes
- Costing and pricing changes
- Ordering fresh product

We can help with training for the desirable skills if you don’t possess these

A competitive salary will be negotiated with the successful applicant depending on skills and experience.

**Salary**: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
