If you are someone who prides themselves on each coffee or meal they serve, the connections you have with people, and passing on your knowledge to the rest of the team, then this may be the opportunity for you. **About the Role**: As the Cafe Manager at Café Matta, you will play a crucial role in administrating and operating our diverse food and beverage services. - Leading and developing a professional team, ensuring high-quality standards and team performance to drive guest satisfaction and meet financial objectives. - Planning and executing menus in consultation with Chefs, and organising special functions to enhance our guest experience. - Managing the department's operational budget, financials, purchasing, pricing of goods, and maintaining stock level records. - Ensuring all dining facilities adhere to health regulations and are clean, functional, and visually appealing. - Engaging with guests to assess their satisfaction with meals and service, confidently exceeding service standards. - Selecting, training, and supervising a dynamic team, including managing staff schedules, training, and performance. - Actively participating in daily operations, such as taking reservations, greeting guests upon arrival, and assisting in taking orders to ensure a personalised and exceptional service experience for every customer. **What you will need**: - Proven experience in Food and Beverage management within a cafe, bar, or restaurant setting. - A strategic mindset with a flair for open-mindedness and creativity in hospitality management. - Strong leadership skills, with experience in team management, training and development, and performance management. - Ability to thrive in a busy cafe environment with a guest-oriented approach. - Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
