Sandwich Hand/panino Maker

We are after confident, sociable and hard-working individual to be part of the foundation team at Amoretti’s Panini Bar. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team.

If you have a passion for authentic Italian style panini, have experience working in as part of a team, have a ‘can do’ attitude and have experience in sandwich making, we’d love to hear from you.

Essential recruitment criteria include:

- Experience in making sandwiches, including baguettes
- Proficient in sandwich hand techniques and ingredient combinations
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity using POS systems
- Food safety supervisor certificate preferred, but not essential
- Reliable mode of transport
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a positive kitchen atmosphere.

Responsibilities of this role include:

- Preparing and presenting sandwiches for our customers
- Operating and sanitising a meat slicer
- Preparation and storing of ingredients using the FIFO method
- Taking customer orders and payment at point of sale
- Set up and clean down of display windows and section

Shifts available Monday to Saturday from 10:00am and 2pm.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $24.38 - $35.30 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week

- Morning shift

**Experience**:

- sandwich making: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- fluent English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safety Supervisors Certificate (preferred)
- Food Handling Certificate (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
