**Working clinically in the Liver Transplant State Wide Service within the Social Work Surgical Team.**

**About the role**:
As a Grade 2 Social Worker you will be responsible for providing clinical social work services to referred liver transplant and surgical patients and families. A regular day will see you work clinically with patients, attend family meetings and non clinical meetings, and undertake other duties that support the social work department and its operations.
**Key responsibilities will see you**:
- provide counselling to patients and families
- supervise grade 1 social workers
- supervise social work students
- undertake psychosocial transplant workup assessment
- participate in quality improvement, service improvement and/or research
**You must have**:
- a degree in Social Work and
- ideally have worked in a health related setting
- ability to work and contribute to team culture and work within a multidisciplinary environment
