**About the Role**

Reporting to the Venue Catering Manager, this is a unique opportunity to work in the corporate catering department at Metricon Stadium. Within the role, it will be your duty to manage the beverage operation at the stadium relating to the corporate areas for both event days and functions including product ranging, set up, service, and stock rotation. It is key that our corporate beverage offerings stay innovative and in line with industry trends to ensure the best possible experience for our guests.

**Role Responsibilities**

Beverage
- Ensure cold rooms and liquor stores are kept clean and organised at all times
- Manage and oversee the requisitioning of all beverages, dry goods, and consumable items for the Stadium
- Adhere to and follow all Liquor Licensing Laws and Venue Policies
- Implement and maintain par stock levels based on business trends
- Work alongside and train casual employees to ensure the highest service standards are met and exceeded
- Achieve financial goals, specifically labour, stock, and overhead costs
- Collate and prepare timely and accurate financial and operational reports
- Ensure all front-of-house bar areas and clean, sanitised, and organised
- Clean and maintain draught beer lines and equipment

Functions
- Manage and oversee the effective and efficient setup and pack down of Metricon Stadium for event days as well as for the Stadium's non-event day functions - this will either be completed by yourself or with a team of causal staff pending requirements
- Monitor standards and strive to improve operational performance with a key focus on increasing staff productivity
- Maintain all policy standards, the culture of accountability and responsibility, and hold your staff accountable for such
- Working with the functions manager to deliver all functions with a focus on exceptional customer experience with the goal of increasing return business
- Assist the Corporate operation manager with any other business to ensure the successful running of the corporate space including event day and function operations and execution

**Key Requirements**
- Proven experience in corporate catering environments such as functions and events or upmarket bars
- Passion for the beverage industry and some knowledge of draught beer operations
- Good level of fitness for moving stock and furniture
- Strong literacy, business writing, and communication skills
- Understanding event management software such as Ungerboeck (USI) and Materials Control (MC) is desirable
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) competency certification
- A Forklift Licence is desirable

The role requires a good level of physical fitness and involves weekend and evening work therefore a flexible approach to working hours is mandatory. Your hands-on approach to managing the corporate beverage aspect of the stadium will ensure your success, as will your willingness to go the extra mile in order to deliver results.
